What I learnt from sports

E ver since I picked up the Table Tennis racket as a wide-eyed 6-year-old, I have been a sportsman. I have upheld the spirit of sportsmanship to the best of my abilities. This spirit ensures a fair and equal game and is the solution to dissolving differences between opponents. While growing up, two sports meant a lot to me — table tennis and football (or soccer). These sports have taught me great lessons that I feel everyone should learn to make themselves a better and more valuable human being. I will unravel those lessons through the help of my own experiences. And so, it goes… I started learning Table Tennis from the age of 6 and carried on till the age of 13. I left table tennis because of one thing —  losing . I frequently lost matches wherein I was playing really well against an opponent who (although was a better player than me) I could beat by bringing out my best game. I would be leading by 2 sets then lose the match by 2-3 in a best of 5 match. It became really frustrating fo
